this would be your 'about me' section. if you don't already know about me, this is the section you should be reading. it starts out with 'my name is Becky' and ends with 'SOMETHING INANE IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERZ.'
my name is Becky. (also hi.) i'm a college student majoring in Computer Science Japanese. (or, at least i will be once i finally turn in my change of major form.) i attend Clemson University and currently am unemployed. (because i'm a lazy slackass.) i can speak near-fluent German, am decent at the Japanese, and have started Chinese this semester. (it is a fun language.) i enjoy the internets, HTML, making graphics and icons, playing video games, and wasting my time in myriads of other ways.

this is the 'beware of' section. it tells you what you can expect from this journal. what you can expect from this journal includes, but is not limited to: nonsense, rambling, copious and unecessary swearing, fangirling, youtube links, yaoi fangirling, talk of boring real life crap, talk of boring internets crap, memes, bitching, and no captial letters.
this journal is not friends-only, and it will never be friends-only, because i believe such things are silly. this doesn't mean there won't be friends-locked entries, because there will; there just won't be that many of them.
also: i really like making new friends, even if i am mostly socially retarded. if you'd like to friend me, i really don't mind, i'd just prefer it if you gave me some sort of a heads up (maybe via comment?) to let me know your intentions. that way i could be all "howdy!" and "you like _______, too? HOMG I FRIEND YOU BACK."
QU'EST-CE QUE C'EST?
i don't know French, but that's the title of my layout, indicating that this is the section wherein i explain/ramble about the current layout. qu'est-ce que c'est, if i'm not mistaken, means "what is this?" and is taken directly from the song Psycho Killer by the Talking Heads. (it's a really good song.) the images featured in the current layout are both by Miwa Shirow, mangaka of DOGS, and all-around OUTSTANDING artist. the patterns used are by ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) 77words, and the brushes are by ewanism. graphic design and coding were both done by myself, with the exception of the navigation, whose codes were tweaked from a ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) premade_ljs layout. i lay claim to nothing except for the ungodly amount of time i spent putting all that crap together.
